Learn AI properly, fifteen minutes a day
Fourteen lessons for complete beginners, each a ten to fifteen minute read with pictures, a proper introduction to every tool before you are asked to use it, and a task that leaves you with something finished.
One 10–15 minute lesson each morning at 07:00 IST. Fourteen days. Free. A welcome arrives straight away; lesson one arrives tomorrow at 07:00 IST.
This is a course, not the newsletter. Joining it does not subscribe you to the daily Brief, and leaving it does not cancel anything else.
What you will be able to do
- Ask for something and get a usable answer, instead of a plausible one.
- Spot the specific kinds of claim it gets wrong, without having to be told.
- Work with your own documents, spreadsheets and research rather than toy examples.
- Say what you would never paste into a tool, and why.
- Leave with one automation that runs without you, and one page that decides what you keep.
The fourteen days
Read in order. Each morning is one short lesson and one task you actually do — every lesson ends with something finished, not something read.
Get started without getting burned
- Day 1 What AI actually is, and what it is not Predict what your AI tool will get wrong before it gets it wrong.
- Day 2 Setting yourself up properly Have one tool ready in ten seconds, with the right settings on and the right one chosen.
- Day 3 Your first prompt that works Get a usable answer on the first attempt instead of the fifth.
Get genuinely good at it
- Day 4 Turning a job you actually have into a prompt Have one saved prompt that reliably does a weekly job for you.
- Day 5 Fact-checking what AI tells you Check a claim with sources and know when a polished answer has not earned your trust.
- Day 6 Choosing between ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini Test the three main assistants fairly, choose one for your work and stop comparing them.
Use it on real work
- Day 7 Your own documents Get answers from a document you supplied, and know why they are safer.
- Day 8 Spreadsheets and numbers Never trust an AI total again — and never need to, because you know the split.
- Day 9 Research, with sources Reach a decision you can defend, and say what would change your mind.
- Day 10 Images and design, responsibly Write an image prompt that produces something usable, and know your own line.
Make it run without you
- Day 11 What automation actually means Have found the one repetitive task worth automating in your own week.
- Day 12 Your first automation, without code Have one working automation, and know how it fails.
- Day 13 Privacy, copyright and what not to paste Have a personal never-paste list and the habit of anonymising.
- Day 14 Your own 30-day workflow Have one page that decides what you keep using, and what you stop.
How it works
- You sign up and get a welcome immediately.
- Lesson one arrives the next morning at 07:00 IST.
- Then one lesson a morning, for 14 mornings.
- Each lesson is a ten to fifteen minute read, with about ten minutes of doing after it.
- Miss a day and nothing breaks — the next lesson simply comes next morning.
What it costs you
- Nothing. There is no paid tier of this course.
- Fourteen mornings, and about fifteen minutes each.
- One click to leave, at any point, from any email.
- Pasting real work into an AI tool, which is the point.
Where this sits in Learn AI
This is the beginner track, meant to be taken in order. The Learn AI library holds ten longer lessons that go deeper on the same ground — they are the natural next step once you have finished these fourteen days, and nothing in them is required to understand this course.
